John Bercow,Churchillian speaker?

After the talk of Sally Bercow, I recalled her husband's speech to welcome President Obama a couple of months ago. I thought unlike the present nobodies leading New Labour and the Tories, this guy actually presents himself and speaks like a statesman.

I reckon in 10 years, with a few extra kilos around his waist, he'll sound like a Winston Churchill, which would be a breath of fresh air after all these slimy, lying, suits that have been running the country for the last 20 years.

Give wiley, grease ball, David Cameron, the boot and elect John Bercow as leader of the Tories or try and get him in New Labour! lol, NOW!

This is his speech:

P.S. Before I checked, as I was about to post, I'd always presumed he had been made Speaker after being an MP for New Labour I was surprised to find that he is in fact a Tory!

If leaders were selected on having shaggable wives he would win hands down.

I think he is hated by everyone, "Sanctimonius dwarf" was one of the insults levelled at him in parliament.

The more they all loathe him, the more I like him! lol

Here's more of him shouting:

The big difference between this guy and Mick Martin, his predecessor, is that Mick Martin saw himself as the MPs Shop Steward.

That?s why they got in such a mess with the expenses scandal, rather than bringing everything out into the open, Mick Martin tried to brush it all under the carpet.

The sore just festered and things got worse and worse.

Mick Martin even tried to get the issue of expenses covered by the Official Secrets Act. In the end the Daily Torygraph got hold of the Computer Disk with all the details of the claims and just printed the lot in the paper and it all blew up in Parliaments face.

Mick Martin got the sack, or should I say he got a cushy job in the House of Lords.

I quite like Bercow, shame about his wife trying to cock everything up for him.

From what I?ve seen of him in the Commons, he keeps trying to impress upon MPs that ?the public elect you twats, don?t you think it wouldn?t it be a good idea to remember that now and again??

Most MPs treat the Commons like an extension of the Prefect?s room at whatever Public School they went to. Bercow gives them a kicking when he sees them doing this and they hate for it. They think he should leave them to lead their cushy lives and not bother them.

I think the job he is doing is one of those where the more people you have to deal with hate you the better job you must be doing, so good luck to him.

Actually I don't think Speakers have been hated. Martin was a Glasgow Gobshyte and a muppet to boot and quite rightly was regarded as such. Previous Speakers before Martin have been well respected and liked by both sides of the House.
Bercow is right though, the MPs forget who put them there and need reminding occaisionally. An election every 5 years is not enough to let em know that.

Bercow is quite refreshing to listen to. I am just fed up listening to the wiley, drivel spouted by politicians of today. Tony Bliar was the first real slime-ball who honed the technique of managing to evade every possible question. Followed by various others including the 3 wankers in charge today, Cameron, Clegg and Ed (Slime-ball in training)

I watched Cameron answer PMQ's for nearly 3 hours and deflect every question with evasion. I thought to myself, "You sleazy cunt, you're as bad as the, "Oiliest of the oily" Tony Bliar!
