Did someone on the back benches hit him on the head with a board rubber, or has he always had that white spot on his hair?

We have need of you again, great king.

Yeah,

I think Miliband is getting into his stride. Although I ddnt see today's debate, he has had the better of Cameron in PMQ's for awhile now.

The basic problem that Cameron has is that he is a PR man who doesn't appear to believe in anything much and has had experience of even less in life. And the problem with endless PR as Blair found out to a certain extent, is that you can get found out in the end.

Cameron is in shit street basically.

1. He had to be dragged back from holiday to deal with the worst violence seen in living memory in London. And then he tried to defend the indefensible by arguing that the police cuts will not reduce the number of police officers available to deal with such riots. The Inspectorate of Constabulary has already trashed his arguments.
2. He promised that there would be no cuts in frontline services in the NHS and then according to Stephen Dorrell, the Tory, ex-Health Minister has introduced bigger cuts/savings in the NHS than any western government has ever attempted in history. Again the evidence is against him.
3. He has done about turns (this goes back to the PR thing about people not having a clue what he actually stands for) over selling forests, school milk, school books, the NHS, prison sentencing etc etc.
4. He announced last autumn that the country was out of recession and yet in the last 9 months, his chancellor has had his growth targets downgraded 4 times and the economy has tanked with only .2% growth in 9 months.
5. He announced that the Libyan adventure was to help the civilians from suffering at the hands of a murderous dictator. Osborne said the war would cost 10's of millions. Since then Britain and the allies have totally ignored the UN guidance. France has sent huge amounts of arms to the rebels. The allies have made many attempts to kill Gaddafi. They must be running out of buildings to lay waste in Tripoli by now. And what of the rebels that we are supposed to be defending? They have bumped off their own military commander, Younis. The political leader of the rebels has sacked his entire cabinet. ANd there appears to be absolutely no end in sight.
6 He is inextricably tied into the phone hacking saga via Coulson.
7. He argued that the council cuts shouldnt result in cuts in frontline services. And not even the Tory Head of the Councils believed anything other than that he was talking out of his arse. Again the evidence is totally against him.

And all of this is after just 15 months.

Could things get worse? Unfortunately, I suspect they could.

Cheers

Unfortunately David, whether you are right or wrong doesn't really matter, because people in general have little respect or confidence in either party. Look how palatable and nicey, nicey, New Labour are now, when they are in opposition. Once elected they'll be churning out the same old dogmatic policies as the Tories do. The pair of them are, let's face it, "Hopeless".

I must admit, I do admire your starry eyed, almost teenage adulation of all that is New Labour. You remind me of the poor lads who believed their leaders in 1914 and joyfully hopped on the trains, singing merry songs and went to war against the Germans, only to be blown to pieces, dismembered or gassed.

A little advice from an old timer, try to introduce a little cynicism into your political outlook, it will stand you in good stead when you discover that New Labour are just as much a bunch of cunts as the Tories. !wink!

Ah bonny lad you dont know the half of it. From mining community to boards of directors via time spent working with more multinationals than you can probably name, in relative terms you are a naive ingenue, following a well-worn path, political idealist in your youth, right wing fart in old age, but too ashamed to accept it in yourself.

Mind you, thanks for the "teenage" bit. Quite buoyed me up, "old timer". !wink!

You always fall in to that well worn Socialist/ Leftie trap of "Labelling" people, when your narrowness can't pigeon hole them and in so doing, insulting them. I was being light-hearted, but you couldn't understand that could you, after all you are a die hard New Labour supporter, no room for humour there! You have a job to do, to save Britain!

I am neither Right nor Left wing, unlike yourself I am merely a person capable of independent thought. I do not require my beliefs to be spoon fed to me, by a redundant political party.

Exactly, so was I. No sense of humour at all, have you when you're on the receiving end?

"I am neither Right nor Left wing, unlike yourself I am merely a person capable of independent thought."

Well you have obviously impressed someone.

Don't sulk now!

You seem to be getting totally carried away so that you are not thinking straight. Let me deal with your points one by one.

"Worst riots in living memory" when were you born 1997.
1981, 2 years after labour had left the country fucked, 2011, oh 2 years after labour hd left the country fucked,"

This was quoted in the Guardian
"More than 6,000 officers ? including 2,500 mostly public order-trained officers and 3,500 local officers ? were on duty as violence spread from north, to east, west and south London on Monday night. Fires burned in Croydon, Clapham Junction and Hackney and there were disturbances outside the capital in Liverpool, Birmingham and Bristol. Senior officers say the violence and looting on Monday night was the worst in living memory; eclipsing the 1980s inner city riots in Toxteth, Brixton and
Tottenham at the height of Margaret Thatcher's premiership
.

"Like I said I knew you would glorify violence when it wasn't labour in charge."

Give me one sentence from any thread I have posted on this forum where I have "glorified violence" with regard to these riots.

"Yet no metion of the riots in 2001 when we went to war."

If you had been on this forum any length of time you would find that I have stated time and time again that I regard Tony Blair as a war criminal who should end up on trial in the Hague.

"You are an apoligist fore scum."

Find me one instance of where I have said these riots are excusable!

OVER TO YOU BERNARD. PUT UP OR SHUT UP!

Cheers

It must be an Arab prince or a footballer rioting. Ive seen their sort before. Screech to a halt. Brick through JD Sports and then straight in for the latest pair of trainers.

Sheer thuggery, but nothing to do with politics.
