Bin Laden: Put away the bunting.....

Maybe before everyone gets too hysterical with pro American sentiment over the rather convenient demise of Bin Laden, ask yourselves this. The World no longer has a "bogey man" and the World MUST have a bogey man, so who is the next one the Yanks have in mind? Bin Laden is dead because the Yanks need to exit Afghanistan and attack Iran instead, so welcome to our new bogey man, President "Imadinnerjacket" of Iran. Everything you are reading about Bin Laden is either lies, half truths or distortions, we are but pawns in a huge geo political game. Standby for the next major Middle East conflict!

Bin Laden would have been dead sooner but his execution was delayed so as not to jeopardise the Royal Wedding...

Calm down Jimbo and take a tablet for the paranoia....your comment
about a world bogeyman is absolutely true....the sad fact is the poor
old world usually provides its own ie someone steps up to the plate to
be "bastard dictator of the year", there are so many to go around !
I do not think the Americans are going to war with Iran anytime soon -
the US public are currently opposed to more foreign involvement and
the Obama adminstration is not keen too with its hands full of mess like
Afghanistan and Iraq.
In any event, if trouble develops with "Ad-dinnerjacket" in Iran the CIA
will let their Israeli lapdogs stir the shit !

Agreed, Frank. If you look at the run-up to the UN resolution over Libya, the US dragged their feet until the last moment and even though they ended up being involved, they couldn't wait to pass on leadership responsibility to Cameron, Sarkozy who had really pushed for the resolution and Nato.

As an aside, I note that there was a meeting yesterday where the subject of substantial funding for the rebels in Libya was discussed. Given the poor training, organisation and weapons that the rebels have, if they decide to provide funding this war is likely to go on and on.

Cheers

At the same time that the US SEALS took out the bastard Bin Laden the Irish SAS assaulted Debenhams in London as they had heard that Summer Bed Linen was on display.

I think only a naive fool laps up without question "Official US gov reports" spoon fed to us by the White House and believe them without question, just because they are released in the form of a book. Yet consider info gleaned from the internet is by "paranoid conspiracy theorists" no doubt Wikileaks is all paranoid rubbish? Has no one cosidered the possibility that Libya is merely a side show to enable NATO to position even more forces in the Middle East without attracting attention? Bin Laden has been killed for a reason and it certainly was NOT because he was a "bad guy".I wonder how many mocked Winston Churchill and told him to, "Keep taking the tablets" whilst he was predicting the threat posed by Hitler? The Middle East is in flames at the moment and this fact alone could be the clarion call by the nutters that control the White House for all out war in that region. It astonishes me how quickly it has been forgotten the lies we were fed for invading Iraq and then Afghanistan.
