Yeah, the sun is shining and more cock on the forum.
"Gordon Brown: "What do you expect me to do ?.......hmmm I know lets do what we did with the UK economy..... let's take the basket case HBOS, throw away any competition laws, so I look decisive and merge it with Lloyds TSB"
1. The global banking system was on the brink of collapse. Not much time to have a lengthy enquiry re. competition law.
2. Lloyds bought HBOS. The government did not merge the banks. This was not North Korea under Labour (Message from Jim Slip from an inflatable house in East Cheam "Oh yes it was")
3. What was Brown's role in saving the banking system from complete collapse? Nobel prize winning economist Paul Krugman stated "?The British government went to the heart of the problem and moved to address it with stunning speed.?
If Cameron and Osborne had been in power at the time, they would have been too busy renewing their supply of Pampers to do anything. When you say that the banking problem wouldnt have happened under the Tories. Bollocks!
Enjoy the sunshine.

Gordon Brown is a decent guy, unfortuntaely he has the personality of a dead beetle, which doesn't bode well in the media. Compared to the shower we have in govt at the moment Brown was and is different class.

Now welcomb to out little 'ol forum here Mr Senor, now whilst we are a willing to maybe hear a dif er ent point of view to the what you high faluttin' folks call the "Status Quo", now you might be thinkin' im a talking bout that limey Rock Band but I ain't ya see, I'm a talkin' 'bout you goin up against what we Nu Labor folk on the 'ol BGAF of D call, "Our Big Brain!" or to ya'all Mr David Johnson. Now listen good, boy, you gonna start suggestin' that life wasn't just peachy under 'ol Nu Labor, ya'all gomna find the "Big Brain" and his posse are gonna be a knockin' at yer door and i'm a gonna be a ridin' shotgun!
Now let me explain to ya'all a little 'bout our, "Big Brain", now He sits at the Right Hand of God himself and he knows everything that us Nu Labor folk are gonna EVER need ta know. Why God and Nu Labour CREATED THE WORLD in 7 days.....and it was good, or why the sky is just a little bit more blue under Nu Labor and why God has wreaked HIS vengeance on all dem contrise like the JAPANESE AND NEW ZEALANDERS for NOT votin' Nu Labor. Our BIG BRAIN knows all the ansers to these questions AND MORE besides!
So listen good boy and let me explain the lay of the land, it's quite simple I will do a sample questrion for ya ta save ya'all the trouble:
Question 1
You: Is anything under the Coalition better now than when New Labour was in power and will anything in the next 100 years be better than things were under New Labour?
Big Brain: NO!
Question 2
You: Is there any act or measure of any kind whatsover that the Coalition could put into place at any time either now or in the future that could improve on or be in any way whatsoever be BETTER than a similar measure incorporated by a Nu Labor government either in the past or in the future?
Big Brain: NO!
Are you gittin' my drift Mr Senor? This here forum is not here for discussion, it is here for the Big Brain to talk and bestow on us simple folk the wonders of a life under Nu Labor and for you folk to AGREE, geddit? A bit like 'ol Mr Stalin in dem old days, he used to run a tight ship too and he loved his Ma!
So don't say I didn't warn ya and I'm a gonna be watching out for anymore of your damn fool questions!!wink!

You are talking out of your ARSE.
That one eyed TWATT was probably the most incompetent bastard ever in government and has cost this nation billions of pounds that would be better used here in the UK.
The idiot was a fucking disaster for this country.
His only saving grace was his hatred of Tony B Liar who wanted to take the UK into the Euro and Broon resisted.
Twatts both.

Some of the things that New Labour did were bad. Jim knows my views on what they are because I have stated them more than enough times.
Some of the things that the coalition has done are good e.g. raising the taxable allowance for the poorly paid.
Each to his own opinion, but I think that, unlike the coalition, the Labour government did more good than bad.
Jim's rather over-lengthy rant has nothing to do with my posts. He does that all the time.
Welcome to the forum,
Cheers

"I can't read it all Jim. It is utter shyte."
I must confess I had a similar reaction when trying to read Jimbo's post.
