He's safe. The Premier League is exempt from the rest of the UK's tax laws. That's why the clubs with shitloads of debt get away with murder.

Not seen this in the Guardian (website) and the BBC have obviously pulled the story.

Troubling for me, given Manderic's recent acquisition of The Owls !glum!

Yeah, there is a fit and proper test isn't there for owners? Mind you if a dodgy Thai ex- prime minister with a less than unblemished human rights record like Shinawatra can take over Man City, anything is possible.

Probably just as well for Spurs that there is no fit and proper test for football managers, as far as I know.
