Golden Root tablets...

Have people heard about these things, or ever taken one? I assume they are some kind of afrodisiac and the tablets, often called 'the blue pill' can be bought mail order and from other sources too. I saw a condom machine in a pub toilet in London this week and it dispensed condoms and also these Golden Root blue pills. On the machine it said "Golden Root, the blue pill - you'll thank us and so will she!". I was wondering if anyone had ever had one of these things and if so what are they like and what do they do exactly? Is it like Viagra?

Doubt you'd be able to sell anything like that through a vending machine. Most likely it will say somewhere on it, "Placebo".

Meaning it will not actually contain any active ingredients, it will work because you believe it will work.

I'm told 'spanish fly' is the same.

Golden Root and similar pills do work, but depending on strength and ingredients. The strength of golden root is normally 150mg, 300mg or 450mg. Licensed shops (and Holland & Barret web site) will sell similar products which are generally stronger - Virility Max (450mg) and Extra Strong (450mg) are both very good.
Nite Rider is a pill introduced into the UK market around 12 months ago and is 750mg, but the ingredients are less potent.
Dragon Light is another popular pill found up and down the UK but is only 375mg.
The pills help you maintain an erection when you are aroused. The stronger ones stay in your system for around 2-3 days and when you are aroused they will give you an erection and help maintain one if you sometimes lose it.
Generally you will notice them working 30 mins to 1 hour after taking them, consumption of alcohol will dull the effects.

pornoshop, thanks for that. I've never had a problem 'rising to the occasion' as such, what would be good would be a pill to increase libido, make you hornier if you like, cos sometimes I wanna be hornier but am not. lol.

The pills are pretty good for that too - Spanish fly was mentioned, but can be a but hit and miss with people. I have spoken with some women who take it and it drives them mad, but not had any reports from guys.

There is a new shot drink just released into the UK market called Blue Zeus which is doing well. It is the same ingredients as the pills but also has caffeine and taurine in - only available at some adult stores right now.
