Iraq goes from bad to worse...

I saw on the news that 1.5 million people in Iraq are now homeless and living in squatter camps, a lot of them with barely enough food and many being forced to scavange through rubbish dumps. I honestly wonder how Bush and Blair got away with this. Their claim that they wanted to 'bring freedom to the people' has wrecked the whole country, killed enourmous numbers of its people, and made it much more dangerous than when Saddam was in charge and the plight of its people much more desperate.
It was said that when India was partitioned in 1948 it was the biggest uprooting and movement of people in history, I think 1 million people were displaced and had to relocate. Iraq seems to have eclipsed that. It's so sad, and I think the situation there will just keep getting worse and worse whilst the men who did this just get richer and richer trading off the contacts they made whilst in politics. I would like to see Bush and Blair breaking rocks in a penal colony for the rest of their lives. What chance is there of that happening though?
