You'll find its see what crime has been reported in your area.
It has benefits but doesn't report everything because not everything is reported or recorded for that matter.
Its also been around in a variety of ways so isn't anything new.

I sit on our local CDRP and the beat code stats are more accurate. Most city centre beat codes have the worst ASB simply due to the extra pubs, clubs and takeaways. Reported crime figures are a bit of a lame duck, someone farts in a village and 12 people ring the Police. Somebody else pummels their neighbour in a rough estate and nobody calls.....

It could have an effect on house prices in any certain area if a spate of crimes have been reported...

I was told ages back the cops walking the beat like so called patroling go the most quiet areas and streets !

Was in the Goldhawk Road area once and saw 8 cops restraing a helpless drunk they are such cunts thats all they can do pick on people who cant fight back
