Yeah, its only a rumour but would I be surprised if it happened? No.

There was always the air of hobnobbing with the rich as a holiday activity about Mandy.

Although he was deeply unpopular, that was one of the things I liked about Brown. As far as I am aware his ideal holiday week was not on some billionaire's island or on a yacht in the Mediterranean with the Rothschilds.

I may be wrong, but I can't see Brown getting a full time job with an investment bank.

Cheers

"Maybe not, but he's going the lecture circuit in Americy lecturing on economics fer fucks sake."

Well, Blair and Brown made the big mistakes of having an over-reliance on the tax take from the banking sector, did very little to support manufacturing and even less to regulate the banking sector.

However these big mistakes were the same ones that Thatcher made and that Cameron and Osborne fully supported.

Prior to the global recession, the deficit was less than most G7/G8 countries.

So I dont see the problem with him lecturing on economics.

Didn't realise they made the Mills in that size, but I reckon you would know!

Well I suppose that depends on where you get your information from. I am sure there are Germans who think Hitler was their best ever leader and Russians who have a similar view of Stalin.

Brown got plaudits from economists around the world including Nobel prize winning ones for his role in dealing promptly with what could have been a complete collapse of the global financial system and also for his part in stressing the need for global response.

Mills bombs are no longer used.
I was refering to an 18" long pineapple that my mate picked in a plantation in Brunei. Imagine one of those rammed up yer arse.
