Ford Open (Holiday camp) Prison riots.

Firstly happen New Year to everyone! Had to laugh when I saw news of the riots at Ford Open Prison to find out that it all started because the wardens had the audacious cheek to try and breathalyze some of the inmates sorry, "Clients" who appeared to be pissed. The inmates took objection to this and decided to riot.
Perhaps someone can enlighten me, BUT I THOUGHT THAT YOU WEREN'T ALLOWED TO GET PISSED IN PRISON, COS YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE GETTING PUNISHED???

It gets even funnier, there was a report of, "Benny Hill style scenes" of wardens chasing booze laden lags around trying to breathalyze them.

Is that this doesn't happen much more often.
At Ford Open "prison" there are about 500 inmates, a 10 acre site and on a typical night apparently, there are two prison officers and four support staff on site.

Bring back flogging.
We only seem to have heard of prison riots since the cat was banished as a prison punishment.
6 dozen with salt rubbed in would curb the law breaking bastards.
As for Ford holiday camp, I pass it occasionaly and see no end of "inmates"
outside wandering around on their way to so called "work"
Lock the twatts up and keep em away from the rest of the law abiding society.
I remember a few old squaddies who had done time in various "nicks" during their service.
There was a Hill (as in the film) in Cairo and no one ever wanted to go back.
Gibraltar had a hard nick and the one in Singapore was dreaded.
Barton Stacey, known fondly as Barton Stalag was also dreaded. As I understand it the nick in Colly (Colchester) isn't anywhere near as hard as it was before I left the Kate in 86. No, I was never an inmate. I did 22 years of undiscovered crime.
Trouble is at present there are too many liberal green bastards sticking their noses in and we the law abiding citizens are ignored whilst the fucking lawbreakers are fawned over by Human fucking Rights Lawyers. Blairs tart being one of em.
