Obviously it goes without saying what a tragedy it is,a young girl with her whole future in front of her murdered(we presume). However the whole thing is very odd,her keys and coat found indoors, yet the piza was missing. Maybe she bumped into someone on way home and said she would take a pizza to there place? Looks like someone she knew to me. I don't understand why no witnesses. Surely someone had to see her come and go that night. All very odd.

Its an odd one, by all accounts she is fully clothed so no sexual motive? Wonder if she was knocked down by a car and the driver panicked and decided to hide the body or dump it later.

One odd thing is the boyfriend who reported her missing 2 days after the last time she was seen alive, he'd been in Sheffield visiting family and then returned to their flat to find her gone. Something with this just does not add up, he would surely have been in contact with her many times over the weekend and had a good idea what she was up to! But there seems to be a blank on what she did over the weekend.

Poor girl and poor parents, it's a fucking awful nightmare for them. One thing is certain, the cops will be crawling all over the boyfriend like a rash! He was sobbing at the press conference, which apparently is a sign of guilt, since most people remain positive till the last moment, so if you sob it shows that you know something you shouldn't.

I didn't say he'd done it, but the boyfriend will be "unofficially" No 1 suspect with the police.

This would be a tragedy if the person was male OR female. To give it added importance, because of gender, seems to me,to be a step too far.

If you look at this video it very much looks like a classic performance as at point 1.11 we see the boyfriend crying, look close there are no tears, I've see this so many times people pretending to cry in these situations.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newsvid ... woman.html

I recall seeing a news item of an Iraqi woman who said someone had taken her son but was accused of selling him, while interviewed she tried to cry but they was no tears at all, this I watched in HD!
