I have only recently discovered this web site which, I understand, is Ukrainian based and I have found the free material on it to be excellent. It has enabled me to view some classic material from the 70's which I had given up hope of ever seeing again. Therefore, I was dismayed to discover this morning when I accessed the site, that Norton no longer consider the site to be safe and although they have not made it a dangerous site, they recommend caution whilst using it. They consider the problems on the site to be of nuisance value rather than viruses that would damage your computer.
I find the site so good I am reluctant to stop using it. I should be most grateful for any information anyone can give regarding problems using the site or from anyone who uses it regularly and have not experienced any difficulties.

Since making the above entry I see Norton now say the site is unsafe.

Norton has a tendency to say that safety goggles are unsafe too, just make sure your virus protection is up to date and you will be fine

Though I agree with you Emma, I cant help but feel your post will fall on deaf ears.
No one ever thinks about things like that as long as they get it for free and as I am so fond of saying ,there is no such thing as free.
These guys are making their money some how and the fact its from the Ukraine should ring alarm bells.
Theyve proabbly put some spyware or adware in your computer to siphon information out of it so dont be too surprised if sopme jolly friendly indian chap rings you out of the blue warning there is a computer attack in your neighbourhood and asks for access to sort the problem out.
He'll probbaly use the opportunity to get into your computer and rinse your accounts dry or put some trojan in your computer with a pop up threatening a critical attack has been made on your machine and you need to have the registry cleaned !happy!
