I thought it was a very good documentary in that the person making it tended to stay very much in the background. Obviously, editing can produce results in line with a producer's perception of what she is filming. At times I thought I was watching a Mike Leigh film it was that ironical and funny.
As I expected the BNP came across as a party run by limp brains, supported by people who have so little understanding of the forces that govern their lives that they seem to think that its all down to asylum seekers, Muslims, blacks etc etc. that they aren't living the life of Riley.
The bottom line is that the BNP have nothing to offer other than the politics of hate which is why Griffin got smashed. As for the BNP councillors who uniformly got thrown out, the main reason for this is that they were, in fact, truly shite as councillors.
Have a nice weekend Davey and don't go letting your girlfriend/wife talk to one of those blokes of "colour". You hear?

Its important to keep the riff raff in their place, PH. Still unemployed I see, PH?
As for Hodge being filth, Davey, maybe you ought to check out some of the former BNP Barking councillors to see what a bunch of useless tossers they are.
Why they got rid of the BNP councillors, I think was for the following reasons.
1. Realised that they are a bunch of tossers. e.g. Claire Doncaster.
Three months after being elected she was evicted from her council house for failing to pay ?2,000 of rent arrears. She has failed to turn up to a single meeting of the tenants and residents group in her ward since being elected in May 2006. ?That young lady is doing a disservice to our community,? said chair Darren Rodwell. ?She was elected by residents of this ward to work within this ward. After six months she should have at least had the grace to come and meet the people she represents.?
and Jeffrey Richard Steed
A shining example to his local community, Steed owed Barking and Dagenham council ?1,300 in unpaid council tax at the time he took his seat.
and Tracy Lansdown
Attendance figures for the last quarter show Councillor Lansdown has only managed to find the time to turn up to 38% of council meetings.
and good old Robert John Buckley
Buckley is one of three Barking and Dagenham BNP councillors who were hauled before the courts for rent arrears after their election.
and the wonderful, Ronald Doncaster
Ronald Doncaster. Another shining example of the BNP ?do nothing? councillor, Ronald Doncaster turns up to a mere one third of council meetings. This puts him among the bottom three of the borough?s 51 councillors for attendance.
and not forgetting Sandra Doncaster
Sandra Doncaster. Mother of Claire Doncaster, she too was taken to court for non-payment of council tax. She had not paid for two years and stacked up a debt of ?2,170.34. It was not as though she could not afford it. She and her husband own a hotel in Sandown, on the Isle of Wight. Before becoming a councillor she was twice hauled before the courts for nuisance caused by her dogs, including killing pet cats.
All these activities presumably leave her little time to look after the interests of her ward residents. Turning up to only one third of even the relatively small number of meetings she was required to attend, she costs local people ?1,666 per meeting and has the second worst attendance record of the borough?s 51 councillors.

""Still unemployed I see PH?" Pardon David?"
You seem to be spending so much time on the forum. I heard from another poster, possibly Dick Moby, that you were usually in Sauchiehall Street singing "Scotland the Brave" whilst being on the brew.
Maybe I got the wrong end of the stick, ya little, wee scrounger, you.
Have a nice weekend now
Cheers

I know quite a few people from work who either live in barking and dagenham or have family living there.most if not all of them voted BNP.why?because they arent happy with the absolutely huge overwhelming influx of foreigners moving into what was up until 10 years ago a settled close knit community.in that documentary everywhere the BNP went they were confronted by gangs of violent ethnics swearing and spitting at them and threatening violence or murder and actually attacking them.please tell me what is wrong with these people saying they dont want this marvellous enrichment ,this stunning diversity?they dont welcome these people into their community.also please tell me how truely multicultural it is where you live?are you out every day celebrating and embracing diversity
And as for my girlfriend talking to one of these blokes of colour the last time she did that was 5 years ago in an alley near wembley stadium when 5 of them mugged her and tried to rape her at knifepoint.by the grace of god 2 women walked past and saved her.so dont worry mate she wont be talking to any of them if i can help it

I'm taking a break from the forum. Maybe back in the New Year. Concentrating on other stuff and want to cut out what aint strictly necessary.
"Hiya", What are you - a fourteen year old schoolgirl, or still a teacher?

Now don't get obsessed with me, Lizard. It's not healthy you know. You do seem to have an advanced attack of the grumps.
Cage too small? Missed your morning insect feed?
You dont have to tell me cos I am not really interested in you unless you post something that needs slapping down.
