Commie Boris defends the poor

Post by David Johnson »

Hi
Heard it all now.
Boris Johnson, not the most "radical, progressive politician" the world has ever seen, being criticised by Vince Cable and Nick Clegg for defending the most poorly paid members of London who will be forced out of their homes by the forthcoming housing benefit changes.

Cheers

No you haven't, "Heard everything" David, Boris has actually ordered the execution of all lower paid workers and Union members, within the M25, who refuse to take a pay cut of 99.9999%! He and his Tory henchmen have had, Hugo Boss, the great fashion designer, make up Gestapo style outfits for the Death squads to wear during the executions. As General Boris quipped, whilst guzzling champers and oysters, "I couldn't possibly allow my Tory Death Squads to roam the streets not looking their best. How would you feel if you had a knock at the door and some oaf in a bomber jacket and jeans hauled you out for execution? No I want my men (and women) to look, hard, but fair, so Hugo knocked up a lovely uniform reminiscent of the SS clobber from the 3rd Reich, we even had Becks model the outfits at County Hall and I must admit he did look absolutely gorgeous and being an Old Etonian, I asked whether I could bugger him, but he refused, rotter!!!wink!

Hitler and Boris both brushed their teeth. Hitler and Boris both drank coffee. Hitler and Boris both used pencils. The parallels are chilling.

True.

I used the term Commie to describe Boris in the same way that the Tory press used the term "Red Ed" to describe Ed Milliband.

Both terms are stupid.

I've never understood how people getting over ?400 a week in rent paid for their place (and this in many cases will mean ?500, even ?700 or ?800 a week) can be called 'poor'. Add that to the money they get to live on, their Council Tax and National Insurance paid, Child Benefit, free school uniforms and school meals for the kids, and many other things, and they are doing very well indeed. Many will be getting ?1,000 a week, or more, in total. That is the same as earning probably ?70,000 or ?80,000 a year before tax if you are working. Hardly 'poor' then. Why should the State give them all that money?
