Paraplegic Porn

Watching the commonwealth games and the paralympics had me thinking what people think about paraplegic porn
Fair enough I know a lot of people wouldnt buy into it. Nor me if the truth be known but \i was interviewed with regards a certain wheelchair bound person who wants to be a porn star to which my answer was
"We're damned if we do and damned if we dont"
My concern was that anyone filming that would look exploitative in the eyes of ctitics who would accuse such a person of tunring a disability into a sick freakshow to amuse people
i think that is very sad if I think that those who are able bodied should feel this way about those who are denied what we take for granted.
I did shoot a scene of a genuine couple where the bloke was paralysed from the waste down and was reprimanded for being "sick"
My justification for doing it was to show that couples with physical disabilities can have a normal sex life too.
Mind you Ive always gone for the unusual aspects and striking contrasts of the couples I have worked with but would like to know what you all thought of it up on here.
Even if you wouldnt buy it...is it really wrong or ok?
Feel free to flame if needs be.

Not something I'd want to watch, but everyone has the right to do what they want with their own bodies, so if someone with only one leg wants to have sex on camera... let them!

This topic was explored long ago in a Swedish educational film from the early 70's called 'More About the Language of Love'. If you've not seen it, it is a fascinating watch, and it might just open your eyes.
It's the first disc in this package:

I don't see anything wrong with it (it wouldn't be my cup of tea though).
In particular, I could imagine that some disabled people would like to watch that, as this would treat them as sexual beings. It would be THEIR porn.
Whether it would be deemed generally acceptable or not has probably more to do with how you market it, i.e. if you oversell the disability aspect it then it certainly would come across as a freakshow.
To give it respectability, you can give it a sex-educational aspect, i.e. if you have this disability then these sexual positions probably won't work for you, but here are some which do. And some disabilities may even open up some sexual possibilities not available to the rest of us...

I'd probably watch some out of curiosity, then I'd feel ashamed because I'd snigger at some of the antics they tried.I don't want to be nasty but how many people here still take a sneaky peek at somebody with a disability, then feel guilty as fuck when they're noticed.

Sebastian Horsley did a series of images with a quadruple amputee which weren't particularly arousing or offensive to me. He justified it, as if it needed justifying, by comparing the naked woman in his photos to classical/ancient statues that have lost limbs. Which was a bit of a stretch because they weren't being fucked by the artist
If you wanted to do this kind of thing I see nothing wrong with it at all. As you say, you'll get attacked for being sick and exploitative, but you'd get (and no doubt have been) attacked as being exploitative no matter what you video. You're a porn producer so it comes with the territory? Creating some material that shows disabled people are just like anyone else is to be applauded in my opinion. If you can find people who want to do it, why not?

I did a show for TVX some years ago starring wheelchair bound Kinky Kiwi and his girlfriend Kerry. I'd pointed out that that TVX must have many disabled viewers and why not make a series where a disabled person was depicted as the "Hero" rather than the character to be humiliated in some fetishy type film, which seemed to be the norm.
With credit to TVX they agreed I should make the series and we called it, "The Kinky Kiwi Show!"
So we shot the whole thing at his place, KK had a camcorder and so did I and he got some great shots whizzing around in his chair and doing a kind of "Bendover on Wheels" routine, sorrounded by Kerry and a bevy of babes.
KK was a great character, he's back in New Zealand I believe.

I remember Kiwi. Girls found him very attractive.
