Agreed, I grew up in the 60's watching all his mainly black and white films and although it was usually him being the joke his timing was superb !

I saw him in a play once when I was a teenager. He had an amazingly long career and life, getting to 95 is pretty good going.

Hopefully the BBC will be showing some of his films again on Sunday afternoons as a tribute.
RIP Norman.
Ps.
Was the boss in his films Mr Grimsdale or Mr Grimsdyke ?
Someone on here must know who played the part as well.

Do some research on the Internet Movie Database. It will probably have the answer.
