Hi

I know this is probably a perennial question in the porn industry, but just how does a guy get in to it ? Females are in demand and laughing all the way to the bank, but for guy's it's a different story. I've been online for 2 weeks now hunting down how to even get a sniff of the work but NOTHING. I'm not talking Rocco Siffredi status, just low budget to get my foot in the door, I'll work for anyone as long as I'm doing the stuff.

Porn stars are cultivated from the finest trees in the himalayan mountains and raised on a daily diet of rusted rhino horn then put through bootcamp and unleashed on society as ready made porn stars

Didnt you know? !happy!

On another note, there is a section on here that advises about getting into porn if you care to look.

There is information on this everywhere but does anyone ever listen?

Sarkiness aside. Sorry its just we've heard this soooo many times before and there are an awful lot of time wasters too and very few people can do it well

'Females are in demand and laughing all the way to the bank'

Really? I doubt they are that well paid. Probably earning about 500 notes for a shag scene. That is just a guess though.

Do it for the shagging, not the money or you'll end up broke. And there ain't enough work for the girls either !

Ive come to the conclusion after years of experience that any guy asking how to get into the porn business will most likely fail.

To be in with half a chance, a guy has to have an active sex life outside of porn. If he doersnt, then he is only trying to get into porn to feed what he doesnt have.

Doing porn is an extension on your sex life. Its not about whether you can get it up. it is all about getting up and I find guys with average sex lives do not have th econfidence or persoanlity to carry a scene

Looking at Paul Carders list makes my point.

All those guys doing porn came into it by circumstances from meeting a girl who convinced them to do it or came to the attention of someone via something sexual.

One onluy has to look at the attitude of people protesting about paying to do test shoots to know they will fail. Thats why they dont want to gamble their own money on it and ends up being more hassle than they are worth.

There are exceptions to the rule of course and I dont think anyone knows how elated everyone is when they do find a good guy.

They tend to clap when they do find a guy with real talent as the auditions last November proved.

Unfortunately the act of being able to shag in the bedroom and shagging in front of a camera are TOTALLY AND UTTERLY different! The number of guys who think because they're, "Great in the sack" are going to be great pornstars, I've lost count of.

I can always tell a guy who is going to fail in a scene, it will be the one who swaggers in, with the biggest mouth and the most "confidence" when they first arrive. This is usually masking absolute terror!!nervous!

The worst thing is when they've more or less ruined the scene your shooting, they start getting shirty with everyone on the set, as if it's everyone elses fault that they can't get a hard on.

I had one guy feverishly wanking a totally limp dick, shouting at me, "What's the next position?" I answered , "I actually don't give a fuck, but maybe you should get hard first?" he barked back at me, "I need to know the position!" before it'll go hard!"

Then you start getting the excuses, "I don't fancy the girl!", "I've got a hangover!", "My gran/dog/cat/tortoise recently died!"

This is why the whole industry is quite rightly dominated by the same half a dozen guys, because they save you from risking wasting your money, so they are worth every penny!

PS A few years ago an agent pal of mine held auditions for prospective porn studs, he had over 100 replies, guess how many actually turned up on the day?

3.................and all of them were hopeless!

Sorry to sound so negative but I'm just stating a typical example of my 15 years experience in this business, it's probably worth looking into other areas of employment.

Hi Privateblue
At Killergram we have an application form on the site where new male performers can email their information.
Contrary to what appears to be the norm, we have always preferred to find and develop new male performers.
We shoot around 40 scenes a month, every week day for the Killergram site, Daring and we are currently looking for talent for a potential project with Brazzers.
The likes of Keiran Lee (Now a contract guy at Brazzers) Mark Rose, Andy Mann, Shaft and Jez Kane all started out by shooting with us.
Have a look at the site and if you feel that you have what it takes then please get in touch.

Maybe I sounded a little too negative in my post. If it is appropriate for a particular type of show you can use "Amateur" guys. For example my TVX show, "The Gang Bang Gang" featured 5 amateur guys and a 70 year old, 2 of which had had a little experience and the result was generally OK. The nature of this show would NOT have worked using the so called, "Pros." becaue it would have looked too contrived.

The point that I was originally making was that if you are making a normal scene and you have paid for a couple of girls, a location, makeup etc you are very unlikely to take the risk on using a brand new guy, because if he fails, everyone else is still going to want to be paid...........and jaw droppingly enough, I've had failures still wanting to be paid, my answer has usually been a polite, *$!!***!!!!!!......!happy!

Killergram, obviously have an opening for newbies so I suggest you contact them!!
