England v Germany prediction

Post by Flat_Eric »

On Sunday, England will raise their game, thrash Germany 1-1 (after taking the lead, and quite possibly also having a bad refereeing decision go in the Germans' favour) then lose (again) on penalties.

You read it here first (though I hope I'm wrong).

I reckon we will beat them 2-1. They have not been playing as well as they were expected to, but then neither have we.

It's just like WWII all over again... the French surrendered early, the Yanks came in at the last minute... leaving the English to beat the Germans.

We can but hope.
