Anyone else here had postings censored?.

I find they only like one liners...like Best Wishes,Happy Birthday,ain't you wonderful,anything more than beyond that can be removed in seconds which doesn't fit their approval.

I've had 2 postings deleted that way.

Being American everything is made in heaven.Once a made a comment correcting a previous poster...frowned upon.Removed.

The other,the word HEATHROW was mentioned in the wording...a security risk no doubt.Removed.

Is Twitter like this,not been there,but from what I've heard,more relaxed.

Apparently not. I know of a couple of people who say they were kicked off Facebook for making sick jokes (not just censored notice, kicked off).

I pointed out that some waring factions in some African states had hacked off the limbs of babies - just to show how ruthless they are. It's a fact. That post was removed.

I believe this was reported in Sierra Leone. In what other African states has it occurred?

...they have a very fast filtering system..a posting could disappear in a very short space of time.One wonders if they have a whole office load of people reading this stuff with a big blue pencil.

Even the photographs submitted are extremely tame...

What puzzles me is,why do people contact you through this medium when they already have your email address..is it VANITY,why speak to you in front of the world.Put up all their family photos,where they live,and we are having a wonderful life.(no we are not...)
Why open up a conversation NOW through Facebook,when normally they wouldn't bother to contact you for years.

As I say,it's silly one liners,no serious discussion,that might end up in the bin.
