Sigrun Theil was DP'd in Playgirls of Munich (1977), and there are most probably earlier examples than that.

Probably one of those flickering b&w's from a hundred years ago. Humankind has been capable of DP's for thousands of years. It's not like the invention of photography suddenly brought about the realisation that it was possible.

I agree that the activities between people had the potential to exist before photography came along, but I think that as porn film makers were always trying to be a bit differnt DP could have been something thought up by a porn film maker. When Ginger was done up both slots at once, it was something I had never seen or considered before. I remember friends of mine seeing the film and thinking the same thing!
