Although Samantha Orobator will serve the sentence here in the UK, at our expense. But does life mean 10 years - out in about 3, then a free new identity, free plastic surgery, free house, lifelong benefits etc. etc. ???

That's what life means here, isn't it? I don't believe in these reciprocal arrangements to serve a prison sentence in your home country - she should serve it out there and they should decide when the life sentence is up, then she can come back. If somebody is prepared to commit a crime in a country, they should be prepared to serve time there too - it seems being British means she's better than a Laos equivalent and deems special treatment. A Laos citizen committing an offence in the UK wouldn't be sent back to Laos to serve a sentence, on the grounds it would breach their human rights (i.e. not have a play station and plasma in the cell).

I read a book called "Forget You Had A Daughter" written by a British woman who was sentenced to life in the rather bizarelly nicknamed 'Bangkok Hilton' prison. The title of the book was her message to her parents as she was certain she would never be released from there after being sentenced for smuggling heroin. She did a few years and was then released early, but she never knew she would be getting a sentence shorter than she had originally been sent down for, so she had to mentally prepare herself to spend that long inside. Just doing a few years there is more than most people could take. One week in one of those places is more than most people could take! I cant remember her name now but if you look for the book, under that title, on Amazon, you will find it. This book shocked me. The prisons in that region of the world are the closest thing to hell on earth. The British woman who was recently sent down (which this post refers to) is probably wishing they DID give her the death penalty!

she is from Nigeria so its obvious you dont know what you are talking about.she is about as British as her parasite mother who is living in Ireland and is trying to seek asylum there is Irish.the mother gave an interview to an Irish newspaper yesterday where she admitted her daughter had artificially inseminated herself with sperm from another prisoner and a syringe in order to avoid the death penalty so there was no rape.they should have waited until the baby was born and shot the bitch.dirty drug smuggling cunt why do we have to import filth like this from Africa surely we have enough homegrown scum of our own.i have seen people die and lives torn apart from the effects of Heroin smuggled in by people like her and i wont shed one tear for the bitch
