Yep, three books took 3/4 days and they were/are in suburb condition.

Thanks Dave.just hoping that when it says new it is brand new and not been opened or is cheaper because it has less stuff with it than the shop ones.

They're reputable and they should list all the accessories (or you can inquire about them) so you can compare with other offers.

I've only ever bought books and CDs / DVDs off Amazon (.co.uk and .de) but they've always been

(1) There within 3 days
(2) Very well packed
(3) Postage charged at cost (i.e. no silly mark-ups for "handling")

One time, they even sent a duplicate order (2 paperbacks). I e-mailed them to let them know, and they replied saying "our mistake - keep the books". And I was indeed only charged once.

I've never bought anything 'major' like a camcorder off Amazon, but on the basis of my own experience I can recomend them.

... or zero P&P if you're not in a hurry - delivery takes about 3-5 days on this option in my experience.

Never had any trouble whatsoever with Amazon, and that includes the occasional purchase from 3rd party sellers.

I would add on a side note that DVD.CO.UK are often the cheapest site for CD's/DVD's - never had any problem with them either.
