They'll be an army of social workers already dusting down the "These boys are victims too", "Its the fault of society" and all the other "Blame someone else" excuses they make in these situations.

Reading this literally sent shivers down my back. I just cannot comprehend how they could even think to behave in this way at such a young age. For all my mischief throughout my later teenage years, and hell, im a pretty naughty girl now, everything "bad" i've ever done seems totally tame in the light of the behaviour of a 10 year old boy. These boys need serious psychological help; lets not focus on who to blame but actually think of a solution. They certainly need to be taken off the streets; for their own safety and that of the community. Perhaps we need to spend more money on addressing such problems as opposed to just ranting about them. x

Actually hotmandy we don't need to spend anymore money on addressing such problems.

The realities are that there are significant tools already in place in every council that if used in full would make a significant difference.

When Baby P died it turned out that many failings at local authority level were the cause along with the *unts that killed the baby.

Once again failings at local authority level have resulted in a significant consequence to others.

The sad reality is it's not even a political matter, crime has gone up since the Tories gained control of my council, it's all down to people in an office not doing what they should be.

Crime and attitudes to small things can be blamed on others, within reason, but this mindless cruelty has nothing to do with anyone. It's obviously caused by some sort of mental disorder because 'normal' people just don't do these things.
