Share Your Experiences

Hi everyone, before I get loads of comments about showing the industry in a bad light, I just want to add the following:

I am currently writing a romantic/sexy novel based, very loosely on personal experiences within the adult industry.

I have completed a couple of chapters and a character list etc and have a publisher interested in distributing for me.

I am looking for any additional material I can use, for which acknowledgement would be given if wanted, it doesn't have to be true as this is a novel and not an autobiography, based on experiences in the following subjects:

Visits to a sex shop
Trying BDSM for the first time
Working for a tv channel as a Presenter(either soft or mainstream)

As I said, it is not a book showing the industry in a bad light, as I still want to work in this industry, it is more a romantic novel but based within this industry, I just want to get the information correct! what I am looking for is just a few more short pieces that may slot into what I have already written.

If anyone is interested please contact me, also if anyone would like to talk about it in person, not taped or filmed then please feel free to contact me and I will forward my number to you.

Many thanks.

Wendy Stevenson
Owner of SWALK Adult Store and Novelist (hopefully!!)

Dave, get intouch with Bruce Barbard on my facebook profile. He might be able to steer you in the right direction.

Use the internet more and you'll be surprised what you can find. if in doubt, google it! (oo-er!)

Hi Dave

The only thing about ghost writing is it costs a fair bit of money, where if you can write it yourself the publisher will proof read and suggest changes, all part of your contract. That's the info I have been given anyway.

There is a book, I think it is called The Writers Yearbook, or something like that, it lists all publishers etc, you can pick it up on Amazon, or even grab a copy from the library.

Best of luck, once you get started it is great fun!

Am I the only one who thinks Dave was being ironic?
