Erotic artist, people in prisons don't function in the way you suppose. It wouldn't be about redressing Hardcore's perceived professional misdeeds, but more likely that he jumped the queue for breakfast or looked at someone the wrong way.

Anyway, if an inmate did take it upon himself to tear Hardcore a new one so what ? If Hardcore thinks he's da man then presumably he can rabbit punch his way out of any bother that he has inside. If not he may reflect on a lesson learned about fair fights ie fights with people of one's own gender.

Reminds me of the time I was doing community service and sitting around with some fellow reprobates talking about what we were in for (painting boy scout sheds a sickly green under the midday sun) and I said I got nicked for flogging porn and the one who didnt agree with what i did was ironically doing time for ABH on his girlfriend!

Sometimes people are social irritants and ahead of their time and take culture and society in positive directions. I don't see this being the case with Max Hardcore. Are you saying that Max and his work should be seen as aspirational ? Should they inspire people ?

Personally I think he's more regressive and primitive. It's said that if you give a chimpanzee a typewriter and sufficient time it will produce the works of Shakespeare. With all respect its not about what he is like IRL or how he treats people IRL is it.
People will always judge on what is public and the simple fact is that he champions a product where he deliberately makes women look like small children and proceeds to treat them like human toilets.

It doesn't matter if he is the nicest guy in the world, his "art" is the lowest end of the industry. It requires no skill, eductation or intelligence to produce what he makes - so in what way is he a pioneer?

Well thats subjective to opinion and probably why the guy is so popular and amassed a fortune doing so.

Though that sounds like a defence, I must say and I would say it to Paul himself that his stuff makes me feel very uneasy but may give serious wood to others.

His brand of porn maybe considered disturbing psychologically but its the wrong area of disturbing for my tastes but again that is subjective to my opinion.
