Just read that he died 18 th October, some of you who are as old as me will remember him as a singer dancer and also played "Capt Peter Carlin in UFO"

I remember him being on most of the variety shows in the
70's before he moved on to UFO. RIP Peter

I remember him well, especially in UFO, I have every episode on DVD and still find time to watch it on ITV 4, he was the epitome of cool in that series wearing that string vest, and as a kid I used to get a frisson of excitement everytime he uttered the words ' Sky 1 to control, ufo destroyed'.
rip Mr Gordeno.
on a separate note, I wish they would re make that show.

Yep- every variety show going until c. 1976
As a little kid, I thought they had named Gordano Services near Bristol after him.....
