If anyone was at or watched highlights of Watford vs Reading yesterday, goodness how was that ever a goal the ball was never near the net !!! I know they say that refs have a difficult job but you can see why Aidie Bothroyd probably wanted to lynch hime afterwards!

I see Dean Windass might become a ref. That's exactly what is needed more ex-pros doing it.

So ex-pros wouldn't make mistakes then??
How come the ref. is getting the flack on this one as it was the assistant who THOUGHT he saw it cross the line not the ref. - perhaps we need ex-pro assistants eh that should solve it??

Everyone is ordered to 'RESPECT' officials, but respect should be earned.
Mike Reilly is another great example, he is a top level premiership referee and is constantly making questionable decisions! He had another great performance yesterday and I'm sure we'll see more from him this season

I notice the Man Utd were 'respecting refs' as usual this weekend. How many yellow cards?

Its a shame the camera angle doesnt come from straight over the refs shoulder so we can see what they see
Maybe then we'd have a greater tolerance for bad decisions
if those 2 jackasses blatter & platini would stop champion the human element in the game and just install the video ref for goal decisions
then none of these jokes would occue.
Something tells me their quite happy for the human errors to continue because it keeps football at the forefront of peoples minds and on the back page of the paper

"How come the ref. is getting the flack on this one as it was the assistant who THOUGHT he saw it cross the line not the ref."
Because it's his job to decide whether it was between the posts, and because he's the boss.

We have the "Hackney Marshes" rule in this country. ie if the technology is not commonly available to pub sides, it can't be used. Currently, every sunday morning side would have to install video technology for it to be brought in. Crazy, I know.

Sounds like the usual load of cobblers being used to stonewall progress
Something that could easily be addressed if the will was there the money would follow
Maybe we should ban replays and fuck up those talk shows with ex football hasbeens giving their tuppence worth
Didnt see it,nothing to complain about
