For the authorities this is a good day, regardless of whether he wins an appeal - because between now and then, which could be years away, it'll change the way other people operate. In Max's case though, this was personal - they just wanted him on something or anything. No doubt they've had teams of FBI agents and attorneys scrutinising his activities over a few years to build a case - and once he stepped over a line, they pounced with the full weight of their ludicrous laws. Never been a fan of Max's product, but this is a pretty shameful case by th look of it.

Well I for one am glad he has been done.

I hate to think how many women have been attacked or raped by men who have watched one of his movies and then been fired up enough to go out and do it for real.

I'm with Cenobitez on this. I'm no fan of Max Hardcores material. It makes me feel uncomfortable and the only reaosn he should ever have to go down for this is if any of the girls have cited abuse and torture from him.

I have actually heard that Max is a really nice guy when he is in his Paul Little mode. Max is the asshole personae that some men would want to be but are afraid of...(or simply not) and I suppose those same guys can derive entertainment from watching than actually doing.

If I was to get all freudian about it I would suggest that maybe there is a deep seated anger or hatred towards women but even that comment is dismissive and probably reflects my own bias.
