Land of the Free - well it used to be, although that was a while back. But they've always managed to throw out lunatic decisions in the courts when they want to, especially in the Bible Belt. For the authorities this is a good day, regardless of whether he wins an appeal - because between now and then, which could be years away, it'll change the way other people operate. In Max's case though, this was personal - they just wanted him on something or anything. No doubt they've had teams of FBI agents and attorneys scrutinising his activities over a few years to build a case - and once he stepped over a line, they pounced with the full weight of their ludicrous laws. Never been a fan of Max's product, but this is a pretty shameful case by th look of it.

Well I for one am glad he has been done.

I hate to think how many women have been attacked or raped by men who have watched one of his movies and then been fired up enough to go out and do it for real.

One web site that reviewed his site says:

"MaxHardcorePorn isn't a torture/BDSM site, but the content is just as graphic and disturbing. Fisting, pissing, anal, facials, throat fucking, catheters, speculums and more! Throughout whatever he's doing, Max swears at the chicks and degrades them with all kinds of names"

Degrades them !!!!

Do we really want or need that in today's society.

He is just a degraded bully who gets his kicks out of abusing women.

If a man treated his wife or girlfriend like he treats women he would be arrested and charged with physical abuse.

Welcome to the world of Guilbert's censorship...

Hostel ? BANNED its fuelling people to torture.
Scarface ? BANNED its fuelling gangland culture, and makes people go out and comit gun crime.
Dumbo ? BANNED, its promoting kids to go out and call people names and bully them.
Sleeping Beauty ? BANNED its encouraging kids to drug people.
3 Stooges ? BANNED its encouraging people to poke others in the eyes.
The News ? BANNED its encouraging us to go to war and racial hatred.
This forum ? BANNED its encouraging us to objectify women as sexual objects.

Saying a porn, films, games or anything else can turn someone into a nut is clearly stupid. If your a nutcase then your a nutcase, watching porn doesnt turn you into a sex fiend, watching hostel didnt turn me into a torturous monster, watching the news hasnt made me a racist, and I have watched one of Max's films and it aint for me, but then am69's speculum stuff aint for me, neither is KG's Smoking stuff, but am69 hasnt made me wanna go buy a speclum or KG's made me wanna smoke, altho some porn has given me motion sickness :P

I'm with Cenobitez on this. I'm no fan of Max Hardcores material. It makes me feel uncomfortable and the only reaosn he should ever have to go down for this is if any of the girls have cited abuse and torture from him.

Has it occurred to anyone that maybe the girls a. Do not mind it or b. Absolutely love it.

If you want to find out if a producer is a prick...Ask the girls.

Believe it or not, some girls like doing the ultra hardcore stuff because it is a form of sexual escapism.

Foisting ones prejudices and sensibilites on others is just plain wrong.

I have actually heard that Max is a really nice guy when he is in his Paul Little mode. Max is the asshole personae that some men would want to be but are afraid of...(or simply not) and I suppose those same guys can derive entertainment from watching than actually doing.

I seriously dont think men suddenly get confidence to do something like this watching him in action.

If I was to get all freudian about it I would suggest that maybe there is a deep seated anger or hatred towards women but even that comment is dismissive and probably reflects my own bias.

This is a difficult one to criticise because the girls who perform for him are not the ones testifiying against him in this case.

Its all down to semantics. You can bet the people that got him have had a raging hard on for him to go down for ages with the idea of it sending a clear signal to the adult industry at large:

"We are coming to get you!!!"

I've never seen a Max Hardcore movie so while I can't comment on the content,I can say that everyone who works with him choses to do so freely and are paid for their efforts...politicans and law makers should concentrate on stopping the curruption, which blights both and leave film makers alone..

I've seen a few of his movies and never found them very entertaining, but never found them offensive either - they were just a bit boring after 15 minutes of the same stuff.

Porn at the end of the day accounts of BILLIONS of US Tax Money, so killing it isnt even on the agenda, controlling it and milking it are higher on the list.

I believe that one of the several roots of 2257 is tracking who is working and when, with a means to tax evasion/avoidance detection, in a Multi-BILLION dollar industry, there is alot of money for the goverment to cream off. .
