Was talking to a work colleague today about youth Culture and Fashions, and how there use to be loads in the 70's and 80's (and before),and we were moaning how they have all disappeared, with no new ones taking their place.
He use to be Headbanger(heavy metal fan) and i was a 2nd Generation skinhead(not a Bone head)
I just wondered what the Adult stars/fans on here use to be(the ones old enough anyway)
Regards

mmmmm
Maybe.
Goth has been around since about 79 though, and from what i can see of emo's its just brit pop (albeit a femine version under a different name)
i have never heard of Moshers ofr Barbies, which is good, because at 40 i have no right to be "in the know" !grin!

Good to hear there are still some about though, not just middle aged people carrying on

I would of loved to of lived the days of the Mods,as everything about them was cool and cultrual but as i was growing up that trend was fading out.It never stopped me though from owning a parka jacket (with the Lambretta logo emblazoned on the back) and wearing Ben Sherman/Fred Perry shirts !happy!.

I used to go for the grunge look myself. Mostly because I was a scruffy bugger at the best of times. On a related note, I listened to some Nirvana again recently, for the first time in years. Damn they were awesome.

I remember Greasers and Skinheads from the 70's.
