the first half was a breathtaking display from Utd.
and the petulance from Arsenal in the second half was predictable, when they needed to up their performance they just kicked out at the opposition and quite rightly Eboue was sent off for a ridiculous tackle.
arsenal are quite possibly the sorest losers in any sport.
probably just a blip by them because they are so much better than todays performance suggests.
but today Anderson, Carrick, Fletcher, Rooney and Evra were just excellent, when I saw the line up and Rooney was on his own up front I thought it was a mistake but boy did he do well, he was superb.
with this result and Liverpool going out also its a good day to be a Man U fan

All credit to Man U. We were bloody awful. And what was more scary was we had 16 players listed and not one British, never mind English.

We didn't even turn up to the game and got stuffed and out classed. If I had to whinge about some thing would be the condition of the pitch.
No excuses for yesterday, we were shit yesterday. That's why it's so much fun being a Gooner, you never know what they are going to do on the day.

That's going to fuck you up for the Champions League next season where Michel Platini wants to introduce a ruling that a side must have at least 4 home-based players in their Champions League squads.This will rise to 6 by the 2010 season.

Not worth opening a thread over this but here's the quarter final draw for the FA Cup
Bristol Rovers v West Bromwich Albion
Middlesborough/Sheffield United v Cardiff City
Manchester United v Portsmouth
Barnsley v Chelsea
ties to be played on the weekend of the 8/9 March
It's a no-brainer that Man U and Chelsea would be kept apart.

Platini and Blatter are both keen on this, and if it can be done, thinking of EU employment laws, I would support them. It is quite embarrassing to see a team like Arsenal at the top of the Premiership play without a single English player. The game is being turned into a plaything for overpaid mercenaries. I read that Cesc Fabregas signed a contract last year for ?50 grand a week, now he wants ?80 grand a week. Arsenal should have the guts to tell him to fuck off and find some other mug to pay him ?80 grand a week if he can, the greedy cunt.
