Anyone who's against those overprivileged tossers gets my vote, and the amount of people who've said the same thing is amazing. It's not unpatriotic as some dickheads seem to think, when, and when the Rugby Union cretins start to give Football the credit (for all it's faults) it deserves, then they might some some back.
Some of mates in days of yore went to the local grammar school and they were forced to play rugby union, when all they wanted to do was play footy, the meathead teachers became really stroppy and proceeded to lecture the lads on why R/U is morally and intellectually superior to football.
These deluded f*****s never seem to learn.

I went to a comp, and it was the same story. You played rugby, or hockey, and if you were no good at either then they might let you have a kick about. Don't think there was any underlying philosophy, though, and it did provide us with a good rugby team, and the basis of a very successful hockey club.

We played hockey at school once, it turned into a mass brawl with hockey sticks! very dangerous. Shame really as I quite like hockey as a game,and to watch.
