So what's the verdict on tonight's series finale?

Whilst I enjoyed it, it wasn't one of the best episode though the tying up of some of the loose ends from previous three years was nice.

The Scissor Sisters pastiche was inspired and will play well with the Pride Audience watching it. Bit sad at the end thoug.

So when is someone going to make a porn version such as Doctor Who Re..

On the whole, disappointing.

Don't think RTD knew where he wanted to go with it.

The Captain Jack revelation apart, nothing really memorable. Sorry!

I really didn't like Simm as the master. Too much like an evil, deranged Willy Wonka (johnny Depp vesion). Still think Jacobi would have been awesome. Did seem to wander off a bit too. Good but not great by any means.

One thing I've loved about this years scene is ticking off the number of people in it I've met or seen on recent theatre productions.

John Simms is one of the best actors of his generation and can be seen in "Elling" at the Trafalgar Studios in London from next month.

i liked the episode but hated that guy as the master. he was too over the top. im not saying he is a bad actor, just that for me he wasn't the master. far too much jumping around and singing. more like a panto villain. i prefer a silent menace ;o)

yes i liked the revelation about cpt. Jack, i didn't see that coming.

and i was pleased with the little bits that were put in for the real doctor who fans - like the jelly babies, the mention of the ex-unit HQ

I wonder if they have decided to let Freema go. A shame, if she does, because she was really good.

But the bring back Sally Sparrow campaign begins here!

Enjoyed it but not as good as I'd hoped it would be. Shame if we've seen the last of Freema, maybe it's time there was a change of producer as well to freshen things up.

One of the good things of this season was the decison to embrace and mention the pre Russell T Davis 'Doctor Who' and I did like the mention of the Sea Devils and other old Doctor Who villians as well as the references to UNIT.

The first three series have tried to ignore the previous incarnations and I think that was a mistake.

One thing a few of us were thinking about was whether the Doctor was really the last of the Timelords? So far, we've the following Time Lords MIA :-

- Susan (The Grand daughter)
- The Meddling Monk
- The Professor
- Romana
- The Rani
- and of-course the Master.

Shame about Freema but I'm glad they didn't splash it all over the press of it was a genuine surprise.

Now does any one else think Harmony looks like Sally Sparrow?
