Should beckham be Knighted?

There are some reports floating about that Beckham is being considered for a knighthood.
Just why may I ask?
Should he be knighted? In my view NO NO NO NO NO.
Good footballer yes. Services to the national Game..... little in recent years.
And the prospect of it being Lady Victoria does not bear thinking about.

Oh wow!! Can you get a Knighthood now for advertising Sun glasses and Gillette razors? Can only assume thats the case,because he has been far more sucsefull with these little side lines than he ever was acheiving any thing as the captain of his national team.

Knighthood indeed...for what outstanding service to the realm should this honour be bestowed, apart from taking his emaciated skank of a missus into exile from these shores...

No...........he's not done enough............but then again, compared to others who've been knighted?
So I wouldn't be 'enraged' if he was.
