Steve thought you were old enough to know that service stations will have your pants down every time when it comes to food and drinks. I stopped at one the other day and a tin of pop was ?1.00!! A fecking quid for a tin of pop!! The price of the sandwiches was certainly not for the faint hearted I can tell you. Your best bet in that situation is look for the sandwich, drink and crisp combo deals. Or go on a diet,as i have had to do....mainly because of the sandwich, drink crisp combo deals lol

Cheers

Last year in the heatwave, I was in London and spent ?3.00 for a bottle of water...............which was luke warm.
I'd have been better off drinking my own piss.

Warren is correct, Supply and Demand..........and us mug punters will pay for it, as always

And just think that the price of the crisps in that packet cost about 0.3p - the remaining price is accounted by the huge mark up by the retailers and distributors!

Supply & demand is only part of it, the main reason is the greedy fucking landlords of this country who can charge what rent they like.
?3.75 for an ice cream in Leicester Square doesn't surprise me, a unit in that location probably pays HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of ????'s a year in rent & rates.
You don't see the bloody retailer driving around in a poncey Ferrari, it's the landlord gets that pleasure.
