Islamnow influences UN resolutions...

'Point of Inquiry' along with lots of secular big names are nearly all of the assumption that Islam will be the dominant religion in Europe within 10 years. This worries me deeply............more than ID cards, or a 'so called' police state that were heading for.
This all means that evangelical Christendom will up the anti and atheists/secularists are going to be caught in the middle. We lose, or be forced to take sides.
In light of the ?100, 000, 000 mosque in London, I just hope people stand up and object strongly. Even if the money for the mosque is privately donated, just don't allow fucking planning permission. London has denied planning permission on companies wanting to build sky scrapers in the city because they didn't want the London skyline to be altered.........well surely the same rule applies (though Docklands isn't really the city but still...).
Now religion (namely Islam) is influencing UN decisions and is a big danger to free speech and human rights.
Paranoia maybe? I actually hope so...

What is meant by "the dominant religion"?
In numbers or influence?
Where are the statistics on this?

I don't have statistics to hand, mart. But I can see absolutely where Sam is coming from on this.
First off, the number of Muslims is increasing in many European countries as a percentage of the population (especially the UK). Already in the UK, immigrants from the sub-continent now make up the majority population of a major city (Leicester), and it's only a matter of time before others follow suit.
And in the current climate of Political Correctness (which seems to be most pronounced in the UK, certainly much more so than in Germany where I live), there's also the worry of alientating the Muslim community or of being accused of "racism" (being called a racist these days seems to be second only to being branded a paedophile in terms of "undesirableness").
Consequently, there's a tendency on the part of politicians (and others) to pander to Muslims so as not to upset them. To over-compensate, as it were, for the demonisation of Muslims (some of which is real, some of it just perceived) in the post 9/11 / post 7/7 world.
Muslims of couse have cottoned onto this, and are not slow to play the "racism / discrimination / victim" card when faced with things that they don't approve of (like tougher immigration checks or police raids on suspected terrorist safe-houses etc.). They simply shout "we're being unfairly targeted" and hey presto, the politicians and Old Bill start running around like headless chickens apologising and trying to appease them. Which is why I'd be willing to bet that this grandiose mosque project in London will end up getting the go-ahead.
I recognise that there are many (the majority) Muslims who are perfectly ordinary, decent folk who aren't heavily into the religion thing and just want to be left alone to earn an honest crust, raise their kids and get on with their lives. There are even a lot of secular Muslims who don't even practice their religion at all (hell, I used to be married to one myself and I know / have met a lot of them).
But globally - as an ideology I mean - Islam is definitely "on the march", happy to alternate between playing both the bully and the victim (depending on the situation) in order to pursue its long-term goal (as stated in the Koran) of Islamicising the entire world.
Of course that probably won't happen in our lifetimes (if ever), but that doesn't matter to the Islamists - as long as they "do their bit" while they're here, when they get to "Paradise" they'll be rewarded by Allah for playing their part in the struggle between "dar al Islam" (i.e. the Islamic countries) and "dar al Kharb" (i.e. the "lands of war" i.e. everybody else, us included).
