Hey all really hope your all well!!

OK bit random but today at work my Dad assured me that in the original pilot episode of Star Trek Kirk was not played by William Shattner. I think he is talking rubbish. But the truth is i have never known me old man to be wrong about owt. Cant find any thing that mentions any one else playing Kirk. Has my old man finally gone senile? Should i expect him to turn up for work tomorrow,naked?

Nope, the actor and his wife were pains in the ass and his wife kept making demands so they got someone else for the second pilot. They went for Jack Lord and Jeff Bridges before Shatner

From what i read on Wiki it sounds like Jack Lord would have been a pain in the arse as well!!
