Had the pleasure on four ocassions. Great band. Flag Day is one of my all time favourites

YEAH, The Housemartins were one of my favourite bands of the mid-80s.
Saw them at Liverpool's Royal Court Theatre back in '86 I think.
Everyone still gets up and bops to 'Happy Hour' but there were some other classics too including 'Me And The Farmer', 'Sheep', 'Caravan Of Love' and the brilliant 'Flag Day'.
All their hits are on the perfectly-named 'Now That's What I Call Quite Good'.
Must dig out their stuff today and have another listen to the music of my youth!!!
