Songs you'd probably never have heard stuck to mag

Anyone recall them well? Old floppy records that were attached to magazines covers.
I recall buying whatever mag it was and playing a song called 'Swing Shift' by a strange but seemingly talented Canadian artist called Nash the Slash, famous for wearing bandages on stage. He has his own site and is still going now.
It took years for the web to come about before he came to mind one night and i went looking for him to check i wasn't imagining the name or title.
The song is very eerie but hypnotic too. You'd have to hear it to know what i mean.
Never forgot title or his name but no way i'd have ever known of him or that song if it wasn't for the fact i decided to play the disc rather than bin it.
