Try resetting the digi-box, a hard reset, I think you need to unplug it from the wall completely for around 15mins, look in the manual that came with it.
A few years ago we fell for the murdoch spy machine and had a similar problem, so we took the digibox out onto the lawn and ceromoniously (sp) burnt it. We of course lost all programmes, but had an immense feeling of freedom.
Failing all this, write to News International and complain, their customer service is none to second.

Hope this helps.

Liz.

Sky changed my Local ITV from Meridian to ITV London.... It is worked out from your post code apparently.

If you want you can add ITV London but it will not be on ch 103.

You will have to press SERVICES then 6 OTHER CHANNELS and then select ITV LONDON to watch....

So if you want to do that this is how you add ITV LONDON to your other channels.-

Using the SERVICES and cursor up/down/sideways on the remote control.-
Press SERVICES
4 SYSTEM SET UP
4 ADD CHANNELS

Frequency Type in .- 10758
press the down button to move to Symbol rate
Press the side button to change rate to 22
press the down button to move to FEC
press side button to change FEC to 5/6
press the down button to FIND CHANNEL
Press SELECT

You should now see a list of stations
ITV 1 LONDON
ITV 2
CITV etc.
Using the up/down buttons move the yellow banner over the LONDON channel (mine is at the top)
PRESS THE YELLOW BUTTON (from RED, GREEN, YELLOW, BLUE)
This gives a tick mark against your chosen channel.
Press SELECT when complete.

That will have stored the LONDON ITV version in your OTHER channels section. And can watch/retrieve the channel by pressing the SERVICES BUTTON then selecting number 6.

It is a lot easier to do than to write....

Regarding the signal strength and quality readings.

These are from Sky's default transponder... so not actually the channel you are watching.... Therefore it can be possible to loose your program and get a NO SAT SIGNAL being received message in heavy rain yet go to this signal strength/quality reading and see good figures.... very misleading.

The important one seems to be the QUALITY. Anyhow 100% and 70% are fine.... I have just replaced my dish and lnb and the best I can get is 75% to 80% Strength and 60% to 70% Quality. This was good enought to give me a reliable picture during the recent high winds and rain.
