checking the hallowed imdb, I see the following films are being released next year that are remakes.

Addicted (2007)
Are We Done Yet? (2007)
Bad Seed, The (2007)
Bunny Lake Is Missing (2007)
Chaos (2007)
Eye, The (2007)
Hairspray (2007)
Halloween (2007)
Hitcher, The (2007)
Howard Stern's Porky's (2007)
...aka Howard Stern Presents Porky's (2007) (USA: complete title)
Jacquou le croquant (2007)
Libro de piedra, El (2007)
Logan's Run (2007)
Man Who Fell to Earth, The (2007)
Mute Witness (2007)
My Sassy Girl (2007)
One Missed Call (2007)
Rogue (2007/II)
Torrente (2007)
Untitled Jonathan Mostow Seconds Remake (2007)
Women, The (2007)

Now, The Hitcher has been discussed, but looking at the list, I fancy Logans Run.........although they won't cast better than Jenny Agutter.
But a BIG NO-NO is Bowies, 'The Man Who Fell To Earth'..........that is an iconic film that shouldn't be remade.
Any ideas on what you'd like to be re-made? For me, The Birds could do with a make-over.

Creepshow (2008)
Evil Dead, The (2008)
Fly, The (2008)
Hellraiser (2008)
I Dream of Jeannie (2008)
Incredible Shrinking Man, The (2008)
Kiki's Delivery Service (2008)
Knight Rider (2008)

Oldboy (2008)
Race with the Devil (2008)
Smurfs, The (2008)
Voltron (2008)
Warriors, The (2008)

Incredible Shrinking Man is worth a look-in, but The Warriors? GREAT in 1979 when I first saw it, just go to any inner city ghetto to see it first-hand in real life these days

Evil dead remake? Thats still in the works? I can`t see it happening. There`s no one they could get to play Ash better than Bruce Campbell. They should go and make Evil Dead 4 instead

Halloween (2007)

At least this means they will not do Black Christmas, the real Daddy and everything that the media fooled horror 'fans' into believing Halloween was.

It was a direct rip of of the never made sequel to Black Christmas.

Might have something to do with BC being Canadian and not US.
Always is. They can never stop overhyping the product.

Logan's Run?! Bet they balls that up right up

The new halloween is being directed by Rob Zombie who did House of 1000 corpses and Devils rejects - should be good

Old Boy though? 2004 that was released why does it need to be remade??

Oh dear, so they did.

Just reading the first braindead guys comments about the original just shows you how the World follows what the media say. Bet they don't even know over there that Halloween was a rip off of a never made sequel to BC and a poorer one.

For crying out loud look at what you are watching and not what someone else tells you! Why do people rate a film according to what others say and not what they really think?

BC is the best of it's kind and untouchable with a legendary ending to this day unrivalled by anythng the US could muster.

Ahhhhhhhhh i see it now. Jealousy that even a neighbour can conjur up something that the Yanks would have to rip off from a barely seen original in Iceland, Korea or wherever.

Halloween is no BC and it never was.
