Much as I can appreciate the quality of Curb, I find it hard to watch through my fingers. It is often excrutiatingly embarrassing viewing. That said, the finale where he gets the lead in the stage version of the Producers, also featuring Mel Brooks and Ann Bancroft playing Bialistock and Bloom (you have to see it to get the references on itself) was genius.

For pure comedic pleasure, I rate 'Arrested Developement' very highly. I love the way it is shot and the visual gags that hit you squarely every few minutes.

Having watched the odd 1 minute of 'Seinfeld/Larry Saunders bollocks, I'll repeat what I've stated before, its a load of anally retentive Jewish humour bollocks. Its not even funny, just a load of talentless Yanks trying to kid us lesser mortals that they're really clever and incisive and so on the ball.
Don't get me wrong, when the Yanks get it right they are brilliant:
Early days of 'Roseanne'
" " 'Soap'
" " 'Married with children' ( Al Bundy commenting when wife Peg is on the phone to her mother, "tell your mother I said Oink!", was a particular gem)
Some of the early episode of 'The seventies show' wasn't bad either.
One of the most tedious and pointless programmes was the show was the one where Larry David and David Brent, sorry Ricky Gervais tongued each others arse.
