From what I have seen, I predict a 5-0 whitewash.
Only Flintoff and Peiterson have shown any backbone.
And as for Trescothick? Cry baby bastard!!

inconsistent bowling, last year we had a plan for all their top batters whose flaws are still there, first ball should have been hoggard around the wicket to the left hander just like gilchrist got out,we need more aggresion.

Agreed, Hoggard should have delivered the first ball, a bouncer to tickle his ribs 'just to let 'em know' England were 'up-for-it'

Some good news in all this ashes doom and gloom, i think ive found a flaw with the Aussies that maybe we can exploit, they seem to get very sloppy with the bat once they have past 500 !tears!

Harmison is a bloody awful tourist. But we knew that- so why get him to open the bowling?

I'M afraid we're in for a good tonking. The Aussies are clearly ready for revenge after that incredible 2005 series and I reckon we'll be lucky to win one of the remaining four Tests. !sad!

Quite agree Ace
Englands downfall has been their lack of preparation
One 3 day match before a test with yur main strike bowler sitting on the sidelines is farcical
Still, even if the aussies go ahead 1-0 that leaves 4 tests to turn it around
Now I'm off to watch the australian masters, won by an Englishman believ it or not
cheers

Hey Lads, as an Aussie living here in England I would encourage you not too get to down.
The main problems seems to be a total lack of peperation and orgaisation!!!!!
I was here in 2005 and your boys were more than up for the challenge and we deserved to lose.
5-0 is a bit harsh( Not impossible mind) but you need players like Harmisson and Pieterson to fire the rest of the boys up!!!
Harmisson is a woeful tourist but unless your blokes start showing some backbone the "doom and gloom" predictions could be right.
Come on test 2!!!!! !drink!

Very true
Given that the 2nd test is in Adelaide anything is possible
Let us not forget in 2005 us Aussies led 1-0 before the rot set in
and with Harmison getting a 1 on 1 coaching clinic from Michael Holding
today?
Of course let us not forget that Englands number 1 weapon, the Barmy Army won't be neutralised like it was in Brisbane
cheers
B....OZ Australia to win 3-2
