It got me to thinking about the 'rights and wrongs' of the "business". Some of the things out there are plain sick- and I know that the vast majority of the respondents on these forums would have no qualms agreeing with that. But then some of the things that seem to be mainstream now didn't really sit well with me.

Like what's the fascination with the hugest penises imaginable and pairing them with the tiniest women? I mean it looks like it would be bad enough for an average sized woman to take but there seems to be a particular trend towards towards using the smallest (petitest? is that a word?) women. I read a quote from a very well known British actress about her experiences with the XXLs of this world overseas- and my impression was that she regretted doing it. As a "seasoned campaigner" she seems to have put it down to experience and continued starring in films. But most of these women seem relatively new and look very young- is there something particularly exploitative about this?

Throat f**king- just what is the deal here? Is it erotic to have something forced into your throat until you gag? Is it erotic to do it? Yeah I hear ya. It's all been talked about before on past threads (check "older messages") and it seems to be a so called "trend". I always thought that these porn actor dudes work all the time and need to keep the sexual excitement going by upping the ante everytime they put out something thanks to the producers. What they were really interested in was making money ? and you can?t get more normal than that, can ya? But since the rise of the internet and the withering of traditional social and cultural values the business has been adopted by small-time pervys, more interested in molesting ever younger, ever skankier, chav birds. They?re not really bothered about the dough ? which is a good job because, for most players, there?s not much in it now. No, they just make depressing little tableaus for their own ?committed? little audience of peculiar, specky, chaps in green walled bedsits who go on porno forums and eulogize about the merits of ATM, internal cream pies, and gagging stupid little chav birds with no self-respect. I must agree, intrigued. It?s a bad do.

Aghh.......well that would be the 'I'd like to give the babysitter one' sydrome, and would appeal to lots of guys who have this. Since the amount of these films is huge, I'm guessing the amount of guys who'd like to do 'the babysitter' is also huge. (In my personal opinion, large penises look better on camera, because smaller penises look comical. The giant ones paired with 4'10'', 90lb girls is OTT though, and like I said, 'appeal to the 'daddy loves ya' crowd.)

No, it's not just you. A little dirty talk goes a long way to eroticism, but acting like you're possessed isn't my cup of tea. It probably appeals to the 'throat gagger' fans, and has the same beginnings.

thanks for your input guys- it's so nice to see I'm not the only one thinking that way. For me, sex (and hence porn) should be about the woman- and so productions where she's the centre of attention, respected and given the time of her life(!!) are brilliant. They're few and far between though. I'm not old enough to have seen the early porn of the 80s and early 90s (what's this thing you call a video cassette exactly? !wink!), but it seems like you guys are saying much of this is a modern phenomena so perhaps it's worth checking out.

Dibble- I was surprised by what you said about many of these modern producers not being interested so much in the cash aspect of the business. I noticed most of these types of site involve a few guys, a camcorder and a skanky location- is that just pikiness then rather than a business plan to keep costs down? Also- many of them have gotten a few big name stars to appear on their site in a video or too- I would have thought that would cost a fair amount?

Jack- I know the breadth of porn is huge- I was just commenting on the fact that much of what I would previously have considered niche is more and more mainstream, and I find the trend troublesome.
