You know that song "Poetry in Motion"? ....Can't remember who sang it....someone like Bobby Vee...or Bobby something...

When I was a kid I thought he was singing..."Oh, a tree in motion!" ....as a child I wasn't familiar with the phrase, so assumed he was on about walking trees! LOL

Anyone remember Paul Weller and the Jam's 'All around the World'... "All over the country, we want a nude erection!" :)

(trans: we want a new direction)

I recall hearing Shania Twain singing "If you want to touch her arse" on her "Come on Over" album - quite an invitation.

"Enola Gay.You should've stayed at home yest-er-day..."

So risible I kind of hoped I had misheard them. (admittedly funny lyrics are a whole different thread on their own)

Er......wise words there mate.
Tackling world hunger next ? (Oops.Already solved by "Feed the World")

But what would you expect from people who could call themselves Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (for all you too young to remember the 80's)
