What a great game and what a spectacular performance by Italy in extra time! Great to see Del Piero slot one in at the end. Felt sorry for Germany though. I'd like to see France do a job on Portugal tonight now. Let's see Henry banging them in and, hopefully, C.Ronaldo may sustain a really nasty career-threatening injury that will repay him for being such a scheming, show-boating lil fucker. Be great to an Italy-France final.

It was one of the best games I've seen in ages.

But - stop blaming Ronaldo for Rooney's utter stupidity.

Italy - with 13 outta 22 players involved in match fixing allegations vs
Portugal - who headbutted, cheated, dived their way to the semis..........

If France/Zidane don't win it we should start a riot.

Get real! You saw the clip of Ronaldo goading Rooney before the game. Rooney was getting agitated due to the fucking stupid set-up that the prick of a manager had him play him (i.e., stranded). The ref only reached for his red card when Rooney pushed him Ronaldo. Ronaldo walked away and winked at his team-mates. Anyway, the England-Porugal match wasn't the issue. France have beaten Portugal, but you seen tonight again what a scheming, dirty, play-acting twat Ronaldo is! There agin, practically the entire Portugal team were. Scolari's pathetic as well!

Get real? You think that Ronaldo could have got ANY player sent off just by whispering to them at the start of the game? He got under Rooney's skin and Rooney got himself sent off fair and square. Pushing Ronaldo was a sending off offence. The ref was right to give the red card. And Rooney did the push under his own free will.

Ronaldo's conduct wasn't sporting, and he definitely is a cheating git, but Rooney is responsible for his own actions.

As the teachers used to say, if Ronaldo told Rooney to jump off a cliff, would he?

It wasn't really much of a push thought. It was more of a "come off it what are you doing" kinda tap/push. Its not like Ronaldo fell over from it or even hardly moved....You see harded pushing in the penalty box for a corner...
