I know what a cultured lot you are.
This is a pointer to an event that you will love if you are interested in
history.
It is run by English Heritage and is called Festival of History. It is on 12th &
13th August.
There are over a 1,000 people from re-enactment groups who spend the
weekend living and fighting as they would have done in different periods of
history.
Just look under Whats On to see the range of things on offer.
You can see how people lived, worked, behaved, cooked and worked from
all periods in history.
In the past I have seen re-enactments of UK civil war battles, roman
battles, first world war battles, and more, all featuring hundreds of people.
Watch the video for a small taster.
Or go here for an idea what hapened last year.
