P2P

I notice a lot of people have a preference for getting their porn for free these days (no surpises there) but is this the way its all going to go?

I can see that it wont be necessary producing new material before long if everyone is just going to get it for free...Or maybe I should set my self up as a registered charity and accept generous donations from time to time...

I've noticed some people unashamedly do this on here knowing that producers get on here like they are trying to wind us up or something...

Not that I'd expect if you are getting it for free to even care....Has anyone else got anything to add?.....Hecklers are free to respond also, though sensible posters would be preferred. I could do with a good wind up right now.

I dont mind purchasing, but i do like to "preview" whats available, see if its worthwhile.

1 of the main problems with P2P is that either the stuff is compressed into such a small video size, or the video format is fucked, or the vid has been improperly "ripped", so it all ends up shit.

However, I've seen some good stuff on the net (and P2P), I wouldn't mind getting some of it in the near future on VCD or DVD.

No matter how good some1 rips the vids/disks, the playing is always better on Pre-Recorded VCD/DVD.

It's basically theft - problem is how do you stop it? Use DRM, and then everyone moans about that!!!

I would argue that it comes under FAQ 3.4 (Trading).

Tel

It's well know on here that many producers, directors etc, started out selling "Pirated" material, didn't Ben Dover & his missus do time for selling porn? If all the big Hollywood studio's can't stop it, porn companies have no chance mate, people still buy VHS tapes believe it or not, and those that buy dvd's from on line stores always will, as will those who download movies via sities like yours, Most of the people who own PSP's are interested in games anyway, Anyone I know bought the PSP for it's portability not for watching "Fuck my ass & make me cum" on the tube on the way to the office, With the Oscar's approaching, perfect quality screeners of all the current blockbusters are doing the rounds, some not even released here yet, same with the Colin Farrell sex tape, as soon as it was up on the net, no matter how quickly it was taken down, someone has it, the way I see it, if you make a profit & enjoy it, carry on doing it

as Keith Richards said

"You aint no'one till you've been bootlegged" !wink!

Hi Arnold.

If I aint no one until I've been bootlegged then I must be a fucking legend beyond belief. I found out one of my scenes was ripped from Real Couples and downloaded over 5000 times on a well known p2p!!!!...Ok, I got a lot of nice feed back but you cant help but feel a bit disconcerted with the whole thing...Mind you...Hopefully (looking skyward crossing fingers) a small percentage of those people signed up out of the kindness of their own hearts...Hey I gots to make a livin' too. Someones gotta put these girls through college.

Good feed back though peeps. Keep it coming...

Don't forget there is the cost issue - a DVD from sex shops can cost anything from ?25 onwards depending on the establishment. Why should some people shell out when they can download it for free! It's the easier option.... plus we all know that everyones a tight arse!!!!

Still your works appreciated OEJ so dont despair!

And you can bet Tel that a good percentage will look for more, and when they can't find it, they'll buy it

.....................and no doubt these low down bastards dont pay tax or give a shite about the industry other than the bucks they can earn and some of the quality they are offering is well below par. mind you i'm sure the P2P guys are just as bad and also have their faults.....................................................
