was staying in a hotel in manchester during the ashes and they were filming some scenes in the hotel - nice 70's look it had to it - crap choice of hotel to stay in

Lots of Sweeney cliches, but I was rivitted. My hunch is the black barman is a bit iffy, but thats a Sweeney cliche in itself

in 1973 the sweeney was probaly being talked about or in production;the series didnt start till jan 1975.

Great program just one complaint they got the music wrong White Room by Cream came out in 68 i they should have stuck to Bowie but everything else the clothes, cars was spot on.

your right about the cream record it was autumn 68 i was thinking the same thing at home watching it.

life on mars-bowie was recorded in 1971.
