My Grandmother is very religious and she hates gays. She believes God then invented aids to exterminate them.

Don't laugh. She genuinely believes it.

It's still a bit of a farce today that more than two men in a gay scene is regarded as obscene in the UK. Religion is the real evil ... and of course the Home Office, who strangely enough recruit many gays. I'm sure most Home Office employees woul like to wear a uniform (maybe of the nazi variety). In the UK you have complete freedom, unless you're stupid enough to exercise it ... after all we are a tolerant country (so they say).

This has not been the case as of 1st May, 2004 when the Sexual Offences Act 2003 came into effect and put depictions of homosexuality on a par with straight sex.

A lot of Yanks took that view as well.

Anyone else remember the Not The Nine O'Clock News sketch with Rowan as an apologetic vicar offering advice to "ahem, homothesexualth," ending with the view that if his advice on avoiding temptation cannot be taken, "then you'll just have to accept that God wants you to have an awful life. God's like that; he hates poofs."

God loves us all like his very own children. He can't watch out for his babies everyday. Thats why some of us get snatched by the devil. The devil like hurricane Katrina. God does really love us, thats why he sent jesus his son to save us. God doesnt hate homo sexuals. Satan does. Satan is a very very bad man and he has red hoofs, horns on his head and carries a fiery pitch fork....Satan is very scary.

As BGAFD admin has pointed out homosexual films are allowd now! However in 1982 I had a scene in Dial a Guy where three guys perform explicit sex.

I was charged with importuning acts of gross indency in a public place. My solicitor explained that if more than two men were in a room it became a public place! Just like now when a person of 17 is regarded as a child by the Home Office but can legally have sex off camera. Doublespeak in a Big Brother society.
