I don't post very often, (I should do, this is one of the livliest forums ever!) but I do read the threads and noticed there's a lot of you into classic rock. Any fans of FREE out there? In my opinion they were one of the best bands to come out of the UK in the late sixties, great songs, great playing.
Paul Kossoff has to be one of the most underated blues guitarists of all time, and Paul Rodgers never sang better than he did with FREE. They should have been up there with the mighty Led Zeppelin but circumstances dictated otherwise.....a real shame.

What circumstances would they be Doctor? Heroin addiction etc?
Kossoff was only reverred after death because of unfullfilled promise he showed before getting addicted to 'H'. Nothing worse than wasted talent.
Rodgers WAS a blues voice you could set yer watch too, before he sold out joining Queen with his ludicrous toupee

Yes, the drug addiction of Koss robbed us of a great talent......and I totally agree about Rodgers wig. Couldn't look more fake if it had a chinstrap.
